Report for Salmon Angling on Carrowmore lake Wednesday 11th April

Report for Salmon Angling on Carrowmore lake April 11th 2018 – The Weather remains settled and this suits the spring Salmon Fishing (and anglers) on Carrowmore Lake

Wednesday 11th

Despite the day remaining slightly cool and overcast – the conditions overall were favourable for good angling on the lake with light winds. There were many fish hooked and lost today but here are two of the lucky anglers who landed fresh Spring Salmon on the Fly. It should be noted that these fish were photographed literally the moments after they were caught and were tagged – we know that some of you will wonder…

Pictured are

Gary Lloyd  8.8lbs

Daniel Irvine with a beautiful full Spring Salmon (weight not relayed)

  1. In the space of 2 hours yesterday
Met 6 salmon (4to 6) hooked 3 and 3 moved more. Saw plenty of activity but had to leave early.
