Angling report for week to March 22nd to March 31st

March 22nd: 2 fish yesterday 10 and 8 lbs caught by Ross Fitpatrick and Barry Brennan. Black Dabbler and Green Peter were the killer flies. No photos to date will send them on when I receive them.

March 23th to March 27th: The weather was very bright and sunny so there was little or no angling on the lake.

Monday 28th: 4 boats out today after the winds of the past few days but no fish. The temperature was only 7 degrees for most of the day. Hopefully things will get better tomorrow.

Tuesday 29th: Despite the showers of snow  Brendan  Corrigan had a fish of 8 lbs today Tuesday 29th. March temp.7 degrees.

Wed 30th: Despite the cold weather  two fish were landed by M.Noone and G.Carolan and they weighed 8lbs and 7lbs respectively.

Thurs 31st: There were three fish caught on the 31st in total. Despite cold and sunny conditions Declan Dooley caught and released a fish of approx 7lbs (Not up to his usual standards) Mel Parrott landed a fish of 7lbs caught on Carramore pink (Mick Noone) tying.  Brendan Corr landed a beautiful Salmon of 10lbs
